As the position of Colliers International improves globally, St. Petersburg office continues to develop a stronger team of professionals. In January 2010, Venera Laukhina was appointed head of the Department of Warehouse and Industrial Real Estate. Ms. Laukhina has been working in the field of warehouse real estate since 2005; her professional career began in warehouse logistics and she has a considerable experience in this field.
"The year 2009, not an easy year for the warehouse and industrial real estate sector, showed that only the professionals focused on constant improvement of quality of services provided remain competitive in the market. During the past year, the warehouse and industrial real estate market became a tenant's market, the need to take tenant's interests into account increased significantly. And Venera Laukhina's professional experience in logistics operations allows her to understand the long-term tenant's needs better than others on the market," commented on the appointment Nikolay Kazanskiy, CEO of Colliers International (St. Petersburg).
Ms. Laukhina graduated with honors from the University of Engineering and Economics, Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Prior to joining Colliers International, she was the head of industrial real estate department of Knight Frank St. Petersburg, an international consulting company.
