Colliers International performs its appraisals in accordance with the Federal Valuation Standards (FVS-1, FVS-2, FVS-3), International Valuation Standards (IVS 1-3), 8th Edition, 2007 or, if so requested by the customer, according to the Standards (Red Book) of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS, UK). Colliers International has a RICS certified surveyor on staff. As required by law, our appraisers are members of a self-regulated appraisers' association: the Interregional Self-Regulated Association of Chartered Surveyors.

Our appraisers have access to fully updated information, prepared by our market researchers, about the real estate market and its different segments. Colliers International uses its own database of real estate transactions, including sales and long- and short-term leases, listing such information as rental rates, lease duration, occupancy levels, and so on. Our database is constantly updated with information on both existing and new properties under construction.
